The One Direction Tribute Band are here!

On the day that One Direction go No.1 in the US Billboard Album Charts, StarBookers also make history by announcing the first ever tribute band to the new fab five called..... ONE MORE DIRECTION!

One Direction Tribute Band - One More Direction!

Yes, you're right there IS a One Direction tribute band in the UK and they're available to book right here, exclusively with the StarBookers Agency!  This One Direction Tribute are available for private partys, outdoor events, corporate functions, Bat Mitzvah's, and festivals.  One More Direction perform all the hits in an action packed 45 minute, fully choreographed show, to do the former X Factor boys proud!

The real One Direction have made history by being the first UK pop group to debut at number one in the US album charts.  The closest to this was The Spice Girls who only debuted at number six in 1997!  One Direction are such a hit across the pond that they're not back to tour in concert in the UK until 2013.  Instead they've been performing at concerts in the USA during February & March this year, and are scheduled to fly down under for shows in Australia and New Zealand in April 2012.  Their UK Tour kicks off at London's O2 Arena on 22nd February 2013.

To book One More Direction - the tribute band - for your event, contact StarBookers today on 0845 680 5056, or visit the groups webpage here.

NB: The tribute band ONE MORE DIRECTION are not associated with or endorsed by the real One Direction, their management or record company.

It's double vision for The Wanted Tribute Bands!

The Wanted Tribute Band - Most Wanted

Normally it takes a while before a new band such as The Wanted has it's first tribute band to them, but in The Wanted's case they seem to be breaking the mold for just about everything!

As The Wanted tour sell out arena's in the UK and appear on US TV shows such as 'Ellen', it would appear their appeal is twice that of any other boy band!  So much so, they now have not one, but two tribute bands to them!

The two 'The Wanted Tribute Bands' follow in the tradition of naming tribute bands to mirror their idols, in this case NOT WANTED and MOST WANTED!  As exptected these Wanted tribute shows cover all of the hits of Max, Tom, Siva, Jay, & Nathan, and you can check out all of their details on their StarBookers website page.

The Wanted Tribute Band - Not Wanted

At the time of posting this blog The Wanted had reached a staggering No.2 in the US itunes chart with their hit 'Glad You Came', and described their US success as 'surreal'!  Unprecedented for a British Boy Band and making history!

Could this be the beginning of one of the biggest bands ever, and with it a cavalcade of tribute acts to follow in their wake?

Only time will tell - so watch this 'StarBookers' space!

To book one of our Wanted tribute bands call StarBookers today on 0845 680 5056

Amongst the entertainers were the amazing Silk Aerialists (as seen on the BBC TV trailers), the stunning string quartet Siren, those talented undercover magic waiters Waiters With Magic, and the mayhem, glitz & red carpet glamour (or should that be clamour) that is Paparazzi Attack, our very own fake paparazzi!  Lets just say the over zealous security staff had their work cut out in keeping the noisy, light bulb popping Paparazzi Attack at bay!

Waiters With Magic

The launch evening was a huge success, with all of the artistes playing crucial parts in the overall presentation.

Michael Jackson Tribute jailed for fraud!

The Mail Online headline of 'Not Such A Smooth Criminal' was not only hilarious but quite apt for a very serious offence that took place by Emerson a Michael Jackson Tribute Act who had been working throughout the UK and abroad over the past few years.

Smooth Criminal receives jail sentence!

Emerson (real name Amar Clement) was convicted of fraud at Oxford Crown Court after stealing £75,000 from Natwest bank customers in 101 fraudulent transactions.

When not working as a Michael Jackson tribute Emerson aka Amar Clement worked as a customer services officer at a branch of Natwest, where he used the bank's computer system to access account holders details.

Judge Patrick Eccles jailed Emerson for 18 months describing the crime as a 'carefully organised and sophisticated fraud'.
